WHY NOT? ASK WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR Y O U!

Throw caution to the wind, grab all of your plastic and get out there and buy BUY BUY! What you ask? When the bills roll in don't worry - be hippy - just write to American Express and tell them you will pay them when you get some federal assistance. After all, they couldn't pay their bills and glommed on to YOUR money to get what they wanted! The money grubbers will be wearing ruts in the highways to Washington looking for a handout. I suspect they will get it. When the porn industry, as they say they will, asks for assistance to stay afloat - well,electro-shock therapy might be my only recourse. President-elect Barack Obama enunciated his vision for an activist -- and expansive -- government as the best way to address the economic crisis. I admit to not being the brightest bulb in the pack but I sure don't understand how a bigger government will do anything but drag us down. I haven't heard of one instance of a federal, state or local government laying off workers during this crisis. Instead they are plotting ways to tax US for every conceivable product and service. What if they took the bazillion dollars they are giving away to various industries and divy that up among ALL of us. Now that would be a giant boost to the economy! Let's see. Divide the 3.5 trillion bailout giveaway by 305,579,263 which is the latest population of the USA. My share would be roughly 11453.66. YOur share would be the same! Yes - this amount could be given to every man, woman and child! Imagine what THAT would do to our economy!!
