AT LAST! GRANDKIDS IN THE LAKE!

This was a very special week! Robin and her three kiddoes (aka our grandkids) arrived for a fly-by visit at The Lake before heading for a fast visit with sister Erin and then on to their vacation in Vermont next week.  It was so much fun to have them all here. The kids have grown sooo much. What we really enjoyed was seeing them all have fun together in the water, throwing rocks, finding treasures along the shore, and listening to them laugh!  We tortured them with a drive around the area and a visit to the lighthouse at Cape Vincent.  We went for ice cream and pizza. I doubt they will soon forget the size of their breakfasts at Diane's - especially the stuffed french toast with strawberries and whipped cream!  I saved their special rocks in a bag under the porch so when they come back soon they will have a head start on a collection!  A week from today Erin, Steve and little Carson will come for the weekend so July is shaping up to be a truly special month here!

So glad you had a fabulous visit! What a view of the lake. I see why you enjoy it so much (in the summer, that is). Don't think I could make it through a winter there!
