END OF THE WORLD?

So far so good - it is mid-day on the 22nd of August, the day that Amadamadingdong
said would be the end. We will be bowing down before Islam. Another 12 hours to go.
Meanwhile, in the Super Bowl of politics, the Dems and Republicans are duking it out with little thought about the country they are representing. POWER is the name of their game. There are some great links in these articles. I have learned a lot about the state of the world on this blog. They have been on the front of exposing Rathergate and also Reutergate. The biggest threat to our country, other than apathy of most of the citizens - the Main Stream Media (MSM),the ACLU and the UN.

If I were a Democrat (and I used to be one) - I would be embarrassed at how my party is treating Joe Lieberman - a man who loyally followed the party line for decades -except for one difference in opinion regarding the war. I guess there can be NO debate within the party without being tarred and feathered and drummed out of a job. The way they are treating him says a lot about the soul of the party today. This subject will come up again when Rudy Guiliani is discussed as a Republican candidate for President. He doesn't conform to all the party principles. BUT he could do the job I believe. If the Republicans treat him as badly as Lieberman I will have to start thinking of third party candidates.
