You read about all the time I spend at the thrift store in my volunteer job. Today I took my camera with me and took some photos so that you would get a better perpective on the size of the store and how much work it takes to sort, price and stock it! I used to have not much help with the linens but fortunately "Sugar" volunteered (there she is in the picture standing by one of our many daily carts-ful) to help so things are MUCH better for me. The proceeds of the store go back to the community, either by donations to various community service organizations and scholarships OR individually through the store's community assistance program to needy individuals. There are over 100 volunteers who spend time at the store - and what nice people they are!!
