THE LAKE IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR...

Is there a hidden esoteric meaning in that photo? Neh. Just snapped it as we pulled away Saturday morning on our way back to Gawja. Pat returned to active duty status at The Bank this morning so it was with heavy hearts that we gave up the retired part of SEMI-RETIRED for the next eight weeks or so. There were times over the summer that we thought New York might get the best of us - but we are still standing-so there! There was not a lot of R&R going on this summer - but by the next one, the Lord Willing, we will have more time to enjoy things. Of course we won't be enjoying a boat since we don't have one any longer. AND we won't have to sweat figuring out how to get the dock in the lake again since - yes - we have NO DOCK! Luckily for my psyche which is having a hard time adjusting to a house with no tables, the weather today is gorgeous. Had it been rainy and cloudy I would be seeking refuge in a Medium Dairy Queen. So - one day at a time, trying to enjoy wherever I am - in this case - Ellijay! 1 day down and 69 days to go!
