EBAY MADNESS!
I have just finished listing and selling 30+ items on Ebay - about 20 of them actually sold - and they have all been paid for. Chaching. Into the Christmas coffers the money goes. I'm inspired to list some more especially since I have one quarter of the dining room stacked with all sorts of outgrown/thrift store/bought-this-and-hate-it goods. For anyone not familiar with Ebay selling, they make it as easy as possible. Grab something you dont want, take a digital picture of it - and you are in business. The hard part? Writing the descriptions, measuring, and translating the picture into an ad. There are a bazillion items on Ebay every day so Lord knows how any of mine are ever sold! Sometimes its a mystery. I have a new black sequined cocktail dress in perfect condition that I have listed 4 times, each time for less money and it never sold. Not even for 9.97. I hate to give up on it.
Or a St.John knit from Saks and that has been listed and relisted to no avail. But a package of plastic rose shower curtain hooks? GONE! I figure that this will be a way to make some extra fun money when we retire. Maybe Pat will get in on it also - he would like to paint and sell his paintings again - and Im hoping to find a HUGE lot of rose-shaped shower curtain hooks!

I just found out I could leave comments without having to sign in. I'm just a little slow, I guess. Congratulations on your eBay success - I hope you continue raking in the money so I can retire sooner.
