WELCOME 2007!
Ready or not here it comes! HAPPY 2007 TO ALL!
Trying to look back on the past year there are many highlights to celebrate and no lowlights that I can remember - and I don't think I repressed them! Everyone in the family has been healthy, with special thanks to HIM for squashing little Rainey's Ewing's Sarcoma. And another special thanks for the news of a new grandchild due in May! All my California kids are doing well, Kate's turned 21 - an event she has been awaiting for years. I could have waited a while longer. My wonderful husband is doing well in his job and I'm very proud of him. He wishes he could retire but so far winning lottery tickets are NOT a part of my things to celebrate. I continue to find great pleasure in helping out at the thrift store, dwelling on Ebay, and dreaming with Pat about retirement. Speaking of which, one of the highlights of '06 was the family reunion in Chaumont Bay, NY where Pat and I both felt right at home and are planning our retirement on the shores of Lake Ontario. But first things first. On the to-do list for 2007 - lose weight(always on every year's list),earn a ton of money selling in Ebay, visit each and every of our 6 kids, re-visit The Lake. Throw out a bunch of stuff around the house, join a Yoga class, ride on Pat's bike at least one more time.Take Max The Dog for more walks, grow my begonias from seed this year, actually USE the hammock I wanted.
Aren't New Years Resolutions uplifting and optimistic???
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
