GO AHEAD - MAKE MY DAY!

There is a manhunt on here in Ellijay. The police say he is "armed and dangerous" - well, I guess so! He is supposed to have broken into several homes and made off with guns and ammo of all types - including an AK47. Pat left for D.C. this morning and left his loaded gun here next to my desk. "Just pull back on this and pull the trigger" says he. I am thinking - hmmm....me with whatever this pistol is vs. James Sluder (thats the bad guy) with his AK47. No contest. There is a disadvantage to small town life - and that is the lack of communication - other than the grapevine.
On Tuesday they told everyone to stay inside. Now it is Saturday - we have no daily paper here, the radio station is joyously playing gospel music, theres no local TV, and so we are left to wonder - is he STILL on the loose? The Atlanta stations covered the story the first day but now it's old news...unless he comes around me with my pistol and ferocious dog Max. Then there might be some NEW news to report!
