ON THIRTEEN YEARS WITH MY FREQUENT TRAVELER....

This Sunday will be our 13th Anniversary. they said it wouldn't last! I must say this last year has been quite an adventure. We moved permanently to Pillar Point. Pat had his carotid artery reamed and lived to tell the tale. As soon as his super-glued neck was healed, he started his new job with the FDIC. I think going back to work was harder on him than the surgery! Imagine the shock to your system after being semi-retired, creating just the perfect fit between you and your Laz-y-Boy and then BLAM - up at 515AM driving to places as many as 6 hours away, staying in motels, eating out every meal, and dragging back home at 630PM. That is WHEN you can drive home and not spend the night.

All together now....POOR PAT! I wish I had a skill which would allow me to be the "earner". I love working. But alas, the chore falls to him. Pat has many amazing great qualities - but his "taking-care-of-business" ethic makes me fall for him all over again! I hope that by our 14th our house in Georgia will be sold, or even better that we win the MEGA MILLIONS! Pat's recliner awaits!
