WOW! IT'S BEEN A MONTH!!!

This has been a weird and wild few months! One hint of that is that my normal blogging schedule has fallen by the wayside...somewhere between Dexter and Ellijay, Ga!  I wrote of our previous trips south-the last one came several weeks ago when we decided to rent our house in Gawja to a young couple with a little girl. That meant driving back down there and cleaning the place from stem to stern.  Loading what was left in a UHaul trailer (no more trucks for Pat!) and returning to Dexter in time to exhale and pack for our trip to Las Vegas for son Ryan's wedding to Jessica.  We stayed at the Luxor which was fun to stare at. We gambled at the Luxor which was not fun. We ate at the Luxor which was pretty good as out package included a buffet breakfast daily. Ryan was married at the Bali Hai Golf Resort, on a patio last Sunday evening. After the ceremony there was much good food, fun, dancing and Zoe holding (one of our special grandaughters). Zoe is Miss Personality at 1 year. It will be hard to be so far away from her.  The day before flying home Pat got some bug and has been sick ever since - coughing and dragged-out-tired. I am praying I don't get it...have had a little coughing but nothing to keep me down.  We have no travel plans until (1) I go to Montreal with my Garden Club and (2) we head south once again for some type of Army reunion in Raleigh-Durham the beginning of August.  I have managed to get some flowers and veggies planted. Hopefully they will mature before the first snowfall!  Hope all of you are enjoying your summertime so far!
