SACK DUTY

It is 1:30 a.m. and I am contemplating the pros and cons of going to bed. You would think the pros would be obvious. Sadly two years ago we were sold a b-a-a-a-d mattress (a Simmons high-price 4 figure torture rack) so going to bed does not have the appeal it once had. Yes - we have followed the usual and not so usual consumer paths to satisfaction without finding any. Furniture store is now out of business and warranty, according to Simmons customer dis-service, is voided because we lack three - count them three- support beams. Never mind that the bed only came with two and was set up by the store in that mode. Just so you know, according to Simmons a one and a half inch gulley is NOT sufficient for replacement. So, as I said, hitting the sack is to be taken literally in this house.
