DAFFY

Imagine my shock when I was headed down the driveway yesterday and discovered the daffodils in full bloom! What they don't know is that sleet is in the forecast for tomorrow so their lovely buttery yellow petals will freeze and droop and their dainty legs will split in two. Not a happy thought for a young bloom. We are in the throes of preparing for a trip to sunny chichi Naples, Fl. where the forecast is for 3 days of showers. I am about to head down to the garage and pluck the tops off the bins holding my summer clothes to find a few outfits more suitable for a warm climate. I remember like it was yesterday ( I think it WAS yesterday) that I dragged everything down there. I vowed when I opened those tubs that I would be less of one. Alas. Alack. All beach photos will be taken from the neck up by decree of the picturee.
