THE MERRY MONTH OF MAY - EXIT, STAGE LEFT

The merry month of May has been event-ful! We are celebrating, yes in a quiet way - watching the Braves - Memorial Day '08. Having a soldier in the house and watching the day being marked makes me appreciate what he has done - and feel reeeeally badly for my mental aberration in the late 60s when I was marching in Washington against his efforts. I think he has forgiven me.

And then we have had MANY BIRTHDAYS in May - one daughter(Erin) hit the big 3-oh.

One grandaughter (Carson) hit the big 1.

One grandson hit 9 (Foster)

and his brother Sam is now 11 (he claims to be a pre-teen now).

This month, per the last blog entry, Pat retired his full-time job.

And last, and least - we bought our retirement boat.
The SS HOPETHISDOESNOTDIEINTHEMIDDLEOFTHELAKE. I wonder if we can get that name to fit painted across the back of the boat?

So exit stage left, May. Hope to see you next year!
