WHY OH WHY DO WE DO IT??? (IT WAS ALL BEN FRANKLIN'S FAULT!)

I am talking about Daylight Savings Time ending....am I the only one who dreads the onset of dark by 5pm? I feel cheated. I feel robbed. It just doesn't make sense to me. I have heard so many reasons why we spring forward and fall back...all of them lame. I thought for a long time it had something to do with the farmers, but they get up at oh dark early when the cows get up anyway. The cows don't care about clocks. Then I heard from someone that it was because the school kids shouldn't be standing out in the dark waiting for their bus. I say give them all a government issued flashlight with Obama's initials on it. Longer daylight causes more car accidents is another good one.

I say let's keep Daylight Savings Time all year round. Or the alternative as I read somewhere - set the clocks back an hour every month until its dark all day and then we can just sack out to our hearts content! ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ................
