C'MON GEORGE - GET FEISTY!

I wish I could get an audience with our President. As far as I'm concerned his main shortcoming as our leader has been his inability to articulate - he is woefully handicapped in that area. I truly believe that when he speaks it is the truth. However it is HOW he speaks that is his undoing. The last few weeks has had me screaming at the TV. WHY not come out and defend Scooter Libby who was railroaded?
(If the whole case was about blowing Plame's cover - why didn't the trial have anything to do with that??) And WHY hasn't Bush been on FIRE about Gonzales' firing of certain attorneys? Clinton summarily dismissed hundreds of them without a blip from the media. I am starting to think that the Republicans are wimps. How disappointing - at a time when our country needs all the backbone we can muster.
