WHAT'S NEW?

"So, what's new?", friends and relatives ask when they call or email.

Well, Pat doesn't have an aneurism. Max has stopped scratching himself bald. The weather has been warmer than normal for the North Country in November - 54 today.  Despite my best intentions, I do NOT have my Christmas shopping done or for that matter wrapped.  I did the laundry this week on Tuesday instead of Monday.
I have discovered that our bed feels sooo delicious that I procrastinate getting out of it every morning - especially when watching Imus in the Morning.  No, Erin hasn't had her baby yet and starting tomorrow she will be overdue. I should say HE will be overdue. The contractor finally had time to install our new bathroom ocuntertops ,sinks and faucets. Sadly he cracked one of the Mexican tile sinks in half and we had to order a replacement.  Pat got me a new battery for my car - it kept dying after every charge.  The airlines are tempting me with low fares to Las Vegas - but my body is not ready for public display or groping. My new flicker LED candles purchased on the internet work reeeally well! They came with a remote so I can turn them on and off with one button...gone are the plug-ins!  No, we aren't going anywhere for our Thanksgiving dinner UNLESS Erin gives birth. Otherwise, a table for two.  Ditto Christmas. 
So thats about all that's new from Lake Ontario, where all the women are pretty strong, all the men are okay-looking, and all the children are average.
