"LET HIM TAKE YOU THERE..."

I sent my brother one of those anti-Obama emails that land in my mailbox. (I am not sure why I sent it to him or anyone else I know for that matter. I don't send those things to the TWO people I know who voted for Obama...instead I am just preaching to the choir).

His reply to me was "Susan, Let him take you there..." I guess he meant just relax and let Obamination wash over me and go with the flow. Hah. That is NOT how I roll. I admit that I love surfing the internet, reading all points of view, and THEN deciding my opinions. I am flabbergasted at how much power Obama has grabbed in the past few months. Imagine George Bush asking the head of GM to step down and basically taking over the country. Imagine George Bush ramming thru without much ado from the media a Youth Corps, volunteer but required, complete with uniforms and rules regarding religious participation while in said Corps. Imagine Bush going overseas and apologizing for our country. For that matter imagine ANY president other than FDR trampling the constitution as much as Obama has in 60 days.
I am one of many who believes that Obama has harbored for a long time a dislike for the upper middle class and wealthy. He doesn't believe that it is fair that some have more than others. I have a friend from Germany who says Obama is a communist.
She doesn't understand why the people of the US don't understand what is happening here and why we aren't rising up in anger.

I don't have an answer for that question.
