SLAP ME SILLY AND CALL ME A ROADIE!
AH...back to the recliners (the old ones - the new ones are packed) after a grueling morning of packing the ole UHaul. I guess you never know how much stuff you have until you try and move it somewhere. The idea was to take the Bare Necessities with us when we go north to sign the closing papers. It turned out that the bare necessities didnt take up as much room as we thought. After that shocking realization there was a frenzy of truck stuffing that in fast motion would look like a remake of the Stooges movies. The truck is now packed to the back as is the bed of Pat's truck. We will sit for a minute and then I will climb onto my riding vacuum cleaner and swish through the house in case any "lookers" drop in. We were scheduled to have an interested looker today at 2 - who came instead at 11. There we were in the midst of the loading frenzy and the house was a mess.I think they liked it and are supposed to return with his parents Mid-May. Still praying to St.Joseph!
Steady drizzle of rain yesterday and today - perfect spring weather to make everything green and lush. Usually by April 7th (Ryans birthday) the dogwoods and azealeas are blooming. I don't think that will happen this year!
