12TH ANNUAL LABOR DAY MEET...AND THE GERMAN JUDGES GIVE HER A......5!!!!!!
Here we are ladies and gentlemen - the finals of the Olympic Recliner Riding Competition. There is a smaller than normal field of competitors for this years contests - tradionally held each year on Labor Day. The finalists this year are a husband-wife team from Ellijay, Georgia! Pat has been a medal winner in the ORRC for the past 8 years. He is a renowned recliner rider, having competed throughout Georgia and North Carolina. Susan is a new-comer to the competition but is highly favored in todays race. Here she comes now. She approaches her recliner (a 2000 SamsClub). Now here's the important part...yes! She is IN the chair and in the reclining position in less than...oh my, Jim - is that the correct time? 2.2 SECONDS??? I BELIEVE WE HAVE A NEW WORLD RECORD! And what sportsmanship!
