SPIRIT AIR, LAS VEGAS, RYAN & PENNY SLOTS

I found some 5 cent tickets on Spirit Airline so we went to Vegas to see son Ryan and to see how much Las Vegas has changed since I was last there. If you have the chance to fly on Spirit - we recommend it. New planes, comfy seats with lots more room than Delta. We upgraded to business class for $50 - and that was nice. They only have 4 seats in business class! As far as Vegas is concerned - it is nothing like it was when I was there last. HUGE, lots of people, every conceivable kind of slot machine happy to take your money. Las Vegas is not the deal it once was. Food used to be cheap but now the city is the home to all the famous chefs and chichi restaurants and bistros. We had two whole days to win our fortune - I reckon we needed a LOT more time - or a LOT more luck! I did win 6000 pennies on a penny slot machine. And Pat got a royal flush. He noticed that had he played ONE more quarter he would have won $1000. Thats one of those knock yourself on the head moments.

It was great to see Ryan...and to meet his sweet girlfriend Jessica. If Spirit Air has a 5 cent fare to Los Angeles I'm on it so I can see #2 son Jason!
