POKER MARATHON

This weekend we enjoyed a poker marathon with Charles and Carol, Pat's brother and wife from Columbia SC. It's a tradition - after the catch-up chit chat we hunker down for HOURS of poker playing. After umpteen games of Texas Hold'Em and 5 Card stud, we all get creative as we are dealing and games are called such as Dr. Pepper (2s,4s,10s are wild) and No-Peek (sort of like War from my childhood card games...We played Texas Hold'Em with every conceivable card being wild - even the first two cards dealt! It was a fun weekend - I was the loser in the rankings, but Pat was the winner. He said he could have played all night but my buns can't handle the kitchen chairs for so many hours! We are looking forward to the next installment!
