LET'S SEE...WHEN I AM 80 THEY WILL BE....
I am sure you read about the woman who gave birth to twins at age 60. She had two grown kids and a 6 year old and said she wanted siblings for him. I followed that rationale after having Ryan in my late middles. Hence, Katherine Elizabeth three years later. And I must say I never regretted having kids later in life. I worried about wearing orthopedic shoes to PTA, or having a walker at Little League games. I wondered when someone would ask about my "grandchildren" - and it didnt happen. I never wanted them to be embarrassed about having an "old" Mom. They both kept me young at heart even if they added years to my life worrying about them as teenagers. When I read about that 60 year old and her twins I casually mentioned to Pat that I would like to do that. He rolled his eyes, made some comment about my mental state and turned the volume up on the History Channel.
