HOW DO YOU SPELL ADORABLE? C-A-R-S-O-N!
We are still basking in the afterglow of a visit from daughter Erin, her husband Steve and our newest grandaughter Carson. It was a wonderful time with them and we sure appreciated that they drove 5 hours to get here not long after their return from Aruba. The weather cooperated for the most part. We were able to get out on the boat on Saturday - however the next excursion ended in a smokin' hot engine which died mid-lake. Pat was able to restart the engine and glide into the dock. (The problem turned out to be an old disintegrated impeller, whatever that is! Thanks ONCE AGAIN to my cousin's husband Gary, it was fixed the following Tuesday!)
I digress. Back to CARSON! She started walking while visiting us...taking a few steps at first and then the next day walking the length of the house. It was sooo exciting to see this moment in history! Lots of pictures and video were taken to capture this milestone. Carson delighted us with her "Wheels on the Bus" song and the way she "signed" ALL GONE after finishing her food...we fell under the spell of her big brown eyes and bouncing curls. Life was less bright when they all drove back to Boston - we can't wait to see them again soon!
