TICK TICK....BRAVES ARE IN THE COUNTDOWN TO THE PLAYOFFS!

Pat says the Braves can REALLY win 13 straight games and get into the playoffs.I love an optimistic person! It's been fun watching them the last few nights. I mutter about Andruw Jones' hitting skills but then he wows me with stunning made-for-Hall-of-Fame catches, sliding 20 yards on his stomach. My personal favorite is Julio Franco, the odest geezer in baseball...he's always "into" the game - up on his feet, hanging on the fence, watching every play. The Braves of 07 are gimpy, trying to run on injured ankles, groins, feet. Their bullpen sucks gullywater after you get past Smoltz and Hudson. But there's something about Pat's optimism that is infectious! Maybe MAYBE they can pull this off! Tonight it's 4 in a row. We are thinking 5!

P.S. A few days later and They just put a whooping on the Brewers so maybe something CAN happen!
