The I WILL TRY ANYTHING Diet
I confess that after a lifetime of dieting I am weary and unsure if I can do it again. From that statement you can guess that none of the 321 diets I have tried in
my lifetime have "stuck". Oh sure, they ALL worked for a period of time but then old habits crept back in. I have whacked my mental self for being Weak and Undisciplined on my numerous diets. It has always been a mystery to me that I can be relatively successful in every other area of living but this one. All that aside, I was reading a story on the internet about Beyonce. I don't have a clue about Beyonce other than seeing her picture in magazines etc. BUT Ms. Beyonce lost 14 pounds in 2 weeks for a movie she was making about the Supremes...and she did this by subscribing to the MAPLE SYRUP DIET. Yes. You read that correctly. Fresh lemon juice, maple syrup,a pinch of cayenne pepper - shaken not stirred - and poured over ice! The recipe is ALL OVER the internet. Sooooo....I whipped up a batch of it, using lite maple syrup. It's tasty. I don't think it will be a healthy idea for me to actually drink this three meals a day for Two Weeks. I don't have Ms. Beyonce's staff to work with me here on the hill. But I think I'll give it a try adding a salad at night with a little protein. I will follow up on the results in a few weeks.
