WHAT DAY IS IT?? OH YEAH - ELECTION DAY....

Hopefully the computer-generated telephone calls will halt by 8p tonight. And won't it be nice not to have those gross ads blaring at us for the next few months. There won't be a real long reprieve as I'm sure we will start almost right away on the Presidential Campaign '08. Lord help me having to watch Hilary bulldoze her way to the White House, with Bubba happily ensconced once again in preying distance of interns. I am resigned to what the media has said is a done deal - that the Dems will be in control, that screechy Nancy Pelosi will be in charge. It won't be like 2000 when Pat had to take me for a visit to the ER with heart palpitations over the Gore/Bush recount in Florida. Lordie! I will be marching in the streets like I did back in the 1969 if they try to "redeploy" from Iraq - but one day at a time. Take deep breaths. And take my meds.
