NEW YEAR and MORE ELECTRONICS!

It occurred to me today while I was thinking about "stuff" (I allow myself 8 minutes a day for such activities) that we are becoming more and more inundated with electronic chatchkes. As I type we have three digital cameras charging on docks, two cell phone chargers dangling from sockets, a table full of "clickers" for controlling all manner of Tvs, DVDs,CD players, and several battery re-chargers blinking red and green. We have chargers in cars for phones and GPS systems. Its hard to remember that not long ago we had a family phone we shared, and a camera with a few rolls of film in the drawer. A Tv with three channels that you had to actually get up and change the channel. And has anyone counted how many PASSWORDS you have to remember in a day?
Ain't life grand?
