ANOTHER AMUSING THOUGHT ABOUT AGING...

I got an email from my cousin today and part of her news was that when she went on her weekly trip to see her Mom, age 90, at the nursing home - she reported her to be smiling, chipper and - thirsty! My cousin says she thinks one of the reasons her Mom has lived to be 90 is that she drinks a lot - her juices, water, and especially iced tea. So I decided to up my liquid intake. That, of course, presents an altogether different problem to a woman in her Sunset Years! In other words - never be more than 23 steps from the twalette, as they say in France. As the boomers age I was imagining how they might market DEPENDS to be sexy! Will they come in different colors? Patterns? Hip huggers? THONGS?? I can see it all now...coming to a store near you - DEPENDS THONGS! And what will the Victoria's Secret catalog feature in a few years? Sexy granny panties? Less cleavage and more turtlenecks? Bras that lift, and lift, and lift...and then lock somewhere behind your neck? Remember - you heard it here first!
