BRITNEY/PARIS/NICOLE/TOMKAT/LINDSEY....

I for one feel as if all of the above have exceeded their fame by far more than the standard 15 minutes. What is the deal with them? Do they do ANYTHING other than shop and have their pictures taken? I am sure that the average American is well-versed on all of them - and yet don't have the foggiest idea of things that will affect their lives in a real way. I just don't get it...and while I'm at it - why would ANYONE pay OJ Simpson millions of dollars to report how HE would have done the murders? And who would want to WATCH IT??? Gag me with a spoon.
